my name is rose.

i’m from a small town, one that i never left for too long at all. mostly i just make a big mess and clean it up after. i haven’t always been a potter. i actually went to school for photography and have spent a lot of time taking pictures of people. if you want to see a sample of my photographs keep scrolling… if you’d like to book a shoot with me click here ! i like making photographs of my friends and family in their home spaces. it feels like a little intimate, collaborative moment we get to share, a slice of our lives and how they collide. now i make pots for people to keep in their homes and share with their friends and family. i like that my art gets to hold your cup of tea, or cereal or maybe you just put it on a shelf and look at it from time to time. i love cooking and eating and sharing food with people, i like swimming and laughing and going for walks with my dog and looking up at the sky and taking a moment to sigh in wonder cause damn being alive is a lot sometimes. these things inspire me and help me make more work and feel connected to the world and my home.
